Aromatherapy

This past weekend, I bought the eucalyptus mint candle at Bath and Body works. Someone once told me it could reduce stress. At first I was rather doubtful. I mean how can a candle reduce stress? So I took it home and lit it up.  A few minutes later, a delightful smell was spread throughout my home. And you know what? I stopped worrying for awhile! It was wonderful! I could be at peace and focus on my studies. Also, the smell took my nose and mind on an adventure; as if they were off to a hidden glen.

I found out that the smell from the candle is a form of aromatherapy. In aromatherapy, natural oils are used to enhance psychological and physical well-being. By no means is this a cure all, but it’s a form of relaxing. I am going to back to store one day and by another candle and oil! The oil is good for tight and stressed muscles.
