National Day Without Stigma 1

Yeah…this is late notice, but yesterday was National Day Without Stigma. I did not know about this till practically last night.  I had a bittersweet weekend, so unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to catch up on this [blog], as well as my school work. Oi!

But in spite of that, I am happy that observations like this encourage those without mental illness to take care of the words they say about those living with it. That before they make judgements or comparisons about such individuals to get their facts straight. Not mention this day also brings about awareness through many forms of media whether it may be via social media or through a mental health organization. In an age where technology is basically within your own reach (palm basically), there should be no excuse. And if you don’t understand mental health disorders, it’s okay. All that matters is you mind yourself when around individuals with mental health disorders and/or help your fellow man overcome them.
