For me I need to have 8 1/2 to 9 hours of sleep. 8 hours…eh. Less than that…the whole day will feel like hell. I remember being made fun of as adult for having 8 1/2 to 9 hours (but hey, that worked for me. Helped me deal with my busy day ahead)…until National Sleep Foundation had this infograph. Yesss. So this infograph from them, showcase how much sleep you should typically get. If not, like me, it’s time to make a new sleep schedule.
Hey guess what? It’s “Sleep Awareness Week”, but apparently it started on April 23 and it’s ending in (in America) in two days. Woo. Yeah I’m tired….I haven’t slept well and in addition to studing for a teaching exam and picking up a second job, well…. that hasn’t helped much. I’ve found my mind takes even longer to relax (anxiety, in addition, never makes it easy to rest easy either) with this new job. I get out late at night from work, but then sleep like an hour or two later, ruining it for me the next day especially with my first job. Eesh
What keeps me awake at night? Over-active mind, worry or stress… Well in this infograph, it gives a few reasons why people can’t sleep well at night.
