Happy…

Such an important time of the year to bring attention to mental illness and achieving optimal mental health. Why? Because mental health is health too, duh!😝 It helps people to realize that and among other things:

  • To help people to realize  mental health is not about being mentally ill, but achieving a better state of well being 
  • The awareness of tools and resources to cope with better stresses of life and/or existing mental health disorders
  • To help bring solace to those living with mental illness and/or their loved ones
  • To bring about or improve exsisting mental health reform

And of course,  end mental health stigma. So join me throughout the month (which is basically everyday) to celebrate “Mental Health Awareness Month.”
